Snap! Levels 1-3
Levels 1-3 of Snap! provide a simple drag-and-drop interface that students can use to control the Finch. Each level provides increasing complexity with the intent that students will progress through these introductory levels before transitioning to the regular Snap! interface (Level 4).
Snap! Levels 1-3 are appropriate for beginners in any grade. As an alternative, students in grades 4+ can start directly in Snap! Level 4, but this is not recommended for younger students.

Finch programming can be integrated with other subjects, particularly math. Examples using Snap! Levels 1-3 include Speed with the Finch, Measurement Challenge, Finch Patterns, and Repeating Blocks with Finch. Finch Tales is a great way to incorporate language arts!
Level 1 is the simplest level of Snap!. It contains basic blocks that move the Finch, change the beak color, and play a sound.
Level 2 adds parameters that can be used to change the speed of the robot, create new colors, and play different sounds.
